August Favorite Things + What’s New Around The House
Happy Friday of a holiday weekend you guys! Who’s ready for a break?
We’ve only been in school for 3 weeks now yet somehow it feels like it’s been 6 months. I need a nap! So I think I’ll blame the inconsistency of my blog posts this month on school starting. :) I’ve been really sleepy at night lately too so I haven’t been writing in the evenings as much as I usually do. I attribute the sleepiness to having to get up a little earlier and my body having to readjust. Not to mention I’m fighting off a little cold. I’m crossing my fingers that all the kinks will work themselves out after the long weekend and routines (and mental sanity) will be back in sync!
Now, let’s get to all of the great things August had to offer!

I’m not a huge pottery person but I fell in love with this collection. I love the simplicity and the natural colors.

These soft thin throw blankets are perfect for fall and they’re only $4.99. I picked up 3 and hung them on hooks in our hallway for easy access. You can see them live on my Instagram stories. It’s almost fall home tour time!

I’m kinda sick of wearing fitted skinny jeans so I think my fall capsule wardrobe is due a pair of loose fitting girlfriend jeans. So far this pair is at the top of my list.
8. A Good Read
I just finished this book and I really enjoyed the twists and turns.
I’ve been into bodysuits lately and I think this would be a great fall layering piece. You wouldn’t even know it’s a bodysuit!
10. Anchor Studs
I bought these cute anchor stud earrings for my mom’s birthday and now I want a pair. And they’re sterling silver!
