HappyWednesday friends! Yep, I said Wednesday which means I got two posts up in a row! Yay me…or you :)
I promised that I would share my second go-to protein smoothie recipe and it is a chocolate, sea salt and cinnamon! If you missed the first one it is a mango, turmeric and ginger smoothie and you can find it HERE. It sounds kind of crazy but I promise it’s delicious!
Now, let’s get down to business…
Chocolate, Sea Salt + Cinnamon Protein Smoothie Recipe
1 c. unsweetened almond milk (my favorite is the Califia)
1 heaping scoop of whey chocolate protein powder (my favorite is SFH and you can get individual packs from Whole Foods)
1 tbsp almond butter
1 tsp cinnamon
Dash of cayenne pepper
Dash of sea salt to taste.
Put all the ingredients in your blender, add a cup of ice and blend to your desired consistency. Easy peasy!
I typically drink one of these two smoothies every day after I work out. They are delicious, they fill me up and are great for muscle development. The two smoothies are completely different in flavor and I did that on purpose so that I don’t get bored with either and so far so good!
