Favorite Things Friday Vol. 21

Happy Friday y’all! And happy Labor Day weekend too! Do you guys have any fun plans? We’re headed to Brevard/Asheville, NC for the weekend to do a little tubing, hiking and most likely a lot of eating. If you have any recommendations feel free to send them my way. I’m excited about another break from the heat that is returned with a vengeance after only a brief break.

This week on Favorite Things Friday I am sharing a versatile acrylic tray that I use all over our house, an adorable custom house illustration, a surprising new paint color that I happen to really love and of course some Labor Day sales!

This color is so out of character for me but for some reason it has really stuck. It’s called Poised Taupe from Sherwin Williams! It reminds me of all those rich and moody colors from the National Gallery of Art in D.C. that we visited this Spring.

This clear acrylic tray is one of my favorite home accessories! I use it on the nightstands in my master bedroom, for serving food and carrying things to and from the front porch.

Do you recognize the house in this picture? Duh, it’s a custom house drawing of our humble abode from the talented Melissa of Lemon Mint Prints! This would make a fun Christmas gift y’all so head over and check out her Etsy shop! It’s a tight squeeze to get a picture of it in our small bathroom but it’s SO cute!
