Bar carts are all the rage right now and as trendy as they are I think they’ll be sticking around. There’s something classic and sophisticated about them and they are a great way to take your stylish soiree up a notch! Styling a bar cart is not as daunting as you think either. With just a few staples you can have a perfectly polished serving cart in no time. Here are my top 8 bar cart must haves:

1. A fun set of glasses (preferably vintage)
2. Wine, liquor & mixers
3. Ice bucket
4. Decanter
5. Serving items (shaker, tongs, bottle opener, cork stoppers, stirrers, coasters)
6. A non-bar item (a small plant, piece of artwork, vase of flowers, cocktail books)
7. Tray
8. Cute napkins, straws and dish or tea towel

Did you see how all of the carts shown above include a combination of these items. The list may seem long but don’t worry, you probably already have most of it and you can tailor them to your specific needs or type of gathering you’re hosting.
