Mid Century Modern: Dressers, Chests and Consoles

Let me start by saying I wasn’t always a mid century modern furniture lover and I still wouldn’t fill my whole house with it. BUT,  a perfect piece here and there adds so much interest and character to a room that I think it’s worth stepping outside of your decorating comfort zone! I love the classic warm wood pieces but I love painted ones with funky hardware too!

The pretty wood chest above is one of the coolest pieces I’ve seen! The wood is so unique and looks perfect as is but would also look great with hardware added. I could see the gray one in a sweet nursery and I love the pieces that can be used as media storage or TV stands! The white one is one of my favorites for sure!

I’m working on a little master bedroom refresh and I’m finally replacing my giant blue dresser with something similar to one of these beauties! I’ll be posting the design board soon and I can’t wait to share with you the piece I found for my space!
