Top 10 One Room Challenge Blogger Room Makeover Reveals

Happy Tuesday folks! Can you believe I’m back on my Tuesday posting schedule?!?! If you’ve been following for awhile now you probably know all about the One Room Challenge hosted by Linda of Calling It Home. But in case you don’t, it’s a room makeover challenge where designers and bloggers alike transform a space in their home in only 6 weeks.

I’ve participated in previous challenges over the past few years including my front porch makeover, the master bedroom closet, back deck, little man’s big boy room and our laundry room but wasn’t able to make it work this time around. So, I get to enjoy all of the progress posts and reveals from my sofa instead of being in the trenches of remodel.

Okay, that’s not 100% true because I’m smack dab in the middle of renovating my own master bathroom but the timing wasn’t going to line up for the ORC. But you will be seeing the reveal of the bathroom soon and I hope to join back in for the next ORC in the fall – although I’m running out of rooms to re-do :)

So let’s get to it! I’m so excited to share with you these beautiful spaces transformed by some incredibly talented bloggers! What’s fun about it too is that some of my personal favorites were completely out of my own decorating comfort zone which makes it all the more interesting.

***

This modern farmhouse kitchen makeover from Shannon of AKA Design is a jaw dropper! You’ve got to see the before pictures! (Also pictured above).

Ummm, hello gorgeous bathroom! I’ve got bathrooms on the brain and Bre knocked this mid mod bath right out of the park! We clearly share a love for white subway tile, round mirrors and brass.

We must talk about the nurseries!! There were a handful of little babe room makeovers in the ORC this round but this sweet nursery from Foxy Oxie made me do a double take. So bold and pretty!

Okay, y’all this is the ‘she shed’ guest cottage of my dreams from Simplicity in the South! Who wouldn’t kill to have a place like this for guests to enjoy? I definitely had to include this because it’s so gorgeous but just a super cool space!

There were a lot of office makeovers that really caught my eye like this one from Design Loves Detail. I love the colors and the simplicity of the decor is PERFECT! Way to go ladies!

My girl Shannon from Shannon Claire Interiors is always a top favorite for me and this round was no different! Shannon is so creative and this moody bedroom is simply stunning!

This bright and airy office space from Kim Power Style is a breath of fresh air and you know I love the blue and white! I love the functionality in this room too.

Okay, repeat after me…AHH-MAZING!!! I have no words for this cool and quirky living room. The wallpaper is fantastic but there is so much more to the room so make sure and check it out!

This shared bedroom space is so far outside of my design comfort zone but I can’t help but be enamored by the design elements Domicile 37 uses and the attention to detail. The colors are so rich and beautiful!

And last but not least this incredible outdoor space from The Painted House. You know I love a good outdoor space but seriously this is insane! I NEED this pool in my life. Not only did Angela create this gorgeous daybed lounging situation but she also finished 4 other outdoor living arounds surrounding the pool! You go girl!

So what do you guys think? Are these bloggers talented or what?!?! I think we’re seeing a bold wallpaper trend too, am I right? Thank goodness because I decided on the navy and white palm print wallpaper for our toilet room and I can’t wait for it to go in!

You can click HERE to see all of the guest blogger reveals and HERE to catch the designer reveals. SO much goodness!

Cheers and happy week everyone!

  1. I too love Simplicity in the South’s shed makeover! ORC is always so fun to follow. Since you are running out of rooms to redo for ORC, I’ll be happy to let you use one of mine!
