Casual Chic: Long Tunic with Skinny Jeans

As you’re reading this I’m probably either in flight or taking in the sights of the Big Apple! I wanted to be comfy but also a bit stylish, because well, it’s New York, so this casual chic tunic and skinny jeans did the trick! I’m also a little under the weather so say some prayers I can push through the entire BHG event!

This light tunic was my favorite purchase from the Nordstrom Anniversary sale and it has served me well at work and around town! I love that it covers the bum and can be paired with jeans or leggings and looks great with sandals, ankle boots or tall boots. This is a great fall transition piece that can take you into cooler temps by adding a scarf or a faux fur vest!

Also, did you notice the new sunnies? I’ve got to share with you about DITTO – my new obsession! It’s an online subscription service where you can rent designer sunnies for around $20 a month as often as you want! You can pick out any pair you like, wear them and return them for another pair (or buy them if you can’t live without them) and they come with a shipping label included. Prescription eyeglasses are also part of the deal so you can try on new frames before you purchase. These Jason Wu cat-eye sunnies retail for $275 and I can’t imagine when I would ever spend that much on glasses so this is a great option for me to rotate new styles. It’s seriously a really cool service if you are addicted to glasses and Ditto is giving my readers their first month free with the code: SIMPLESTYLINGS
