Chic Entryway with an Ikea Hack
Happy Monday Friends!!! I hope you had a great weekend!
So, do you guys ever struggle with an annoying space in your home that you can’t figure out what do do with? I do, it’s my entryway or lack there of. We live in a small, open concept home and I really wanted to define an entryway when you walk in the front door. I created this cool sharpie accent wall for but it still needed something and I knew anything I put here had to be small. I decided the Ikea shoe storage cabinet would work in size and I spruced it up a little with some gold paint. Now we have a defined and chic entryway that also doubles as temporary file storage (not for shoes!) before papers find their way up to my office. You can find the tutorial and all the details over on eHow.com!
Have a great week!
Cheers!
I am in love with this mirror! Can you possibly tell me where it came from or where I can find one similar? Thanks!!
Thanks Melissa! I bought if from Joss & Main!
Love this girl! I have a similar cabinet and I love it! So functional. That mirror rocks, too!
Thanks so much Aniko! It is a great cabinet!
So chic! I love the added gold accent!
Thanks Corinna! xoxo
We have this shoe cabinet too! It worked great in our old house for our narrow, almost non existent entryway :) I love the touches of gold you added to yours, it makes it look so high end!
Thanks Bethany! I love yours and it was definitely one I referenced! I loved what you did with your entryway in your old house!
The gold really takes this functional piece up a notch!! It looks great in your entry Summer!
Thanks so much Lisa!
Looks great!
Thanks Julia!
