Fall Plaid & Apple Pickin’

Good morning friends and happy Tuesday!

I wanted to share with you one of my favorite fall activities that goes hand in hand with one of my favorite fall fashions: apple picking & plaid!

As a born and raised Charlottean, I only discovered Skytop Apple Orchard in Flat Rock, NC last year. A measly 2 hour drive from Charlotte, it has already become our new fall family tradition!

If you live anywhere near this place you’ve got to check it out!

Rows upon rows of gorgeous apple trees and wide open spaces. Apple cider donuts are out of this world and so are the slushies (or cider on a cool day).

If I’m talking about apple pickin’ it would only be natural to talk about one of my favorite and timeless fall fashion trends! Plaid will never go out of style and the stores keep us happy by coming up with new ways to wear it every year!

I don’t think there is anything more cozy than a plaid flannel shirt.

My favorite piece is an oversized plaid flannel shirt that I wear open over a tank top or pair with my favorite leggings and boots.

There is just something about soft flannel and vibrant plaid that makes me welcome fall with open arms!

Even little man was rockin’ the plaid and this was a total accident :)

So much fun among those apple trees!

How have I missed this place my whole life? It’s so beautiful and I had no idea apple picking could be so much fun!

I’m dying for a few more plaid pieces in my wardrobe this season and here are a some of my favorites! Okay, maybe not the onesie but how cute?!?!

There are SO many options this season. Do you love plaid or hate it?

I hope you have a lovely Tuesday!!
