Help! I’m Having A Wallpaper Dilemma

Happy Friday friends! I need your help with a little matter today!

We are in the middle of a major bathroom renovation and I’m having a wallpaper dilemma. Originally I had my heart set on the blue and white herringbone wallpaper from Serena & Lily until I saw this palm print wallpaper also from S&L. The palm print must be very new because I couldn’t find a picture of the blue color shown in a room online. You can see it in black above.

Below is the herringbone in a room. It really is pretty.  I love both patterns and one day I’m leaning towards one and the next day I love the other one more.

I should probably tell you about the room where the wallpaper will be going. It’s a small room inside my master bathroom where the toilet is. It’s a tiny space so I definitely want the wallpaper to make a statement. The rest of the bathroom will be whites, grays, brass and a bamboo Roman shade.

Isn’t this hideous??? Y’all…the chocolate brown has GOT.TO.GO! I can’t believe I ever allowed myself to paint it that color. And this space is currently being used as a collection of my art that I rotate in and out of our decor.

And by the way, this post is not sponsored in any way. I just really love both of these prints from Serena & Lily and have narrowed my search down to these two :)

So, what’s your verdict? Herringbone vs. Palm? Please leave a comment below because I need to order it asap and I’m really stuck! Thanks and have a wonderful weekend!

Cheers!

  1. I like them both! But I would say herringbone bc it’s lighter and the brown was so dark that it will be nice to have something lighter!

  2. Wow, looks like it is about half and half. I think the palm print is too much of an overall print for a small area. Go with the herringbone, you can dress it up with your great art.

  3. You can’t go wrong with either. Personally, I would tire the palm print quicker than the more classic herringbone.

  4. Herringbone!! I bought wall paper from Serena and Lily
4 years ago and still LOVE it!

    Herringbone is more you…

  5. i like the herringbone for your home/style. i think i would trust your initial gut rather than go with something that just caught your eye, even though it is lovely- could just be your current mood, ya know? and i was guilty of chocolate brown walls circa 2004 in our first house. oh yeah….
