Kids Room Design Challenge and Giveaway!!!

Hey hey hey! How are you guys?

I’m really excited for this post today because I’m working with 9 of my fellow bloggers and one of my favorite websites, Itsums.com on a Kids Room Design Challenge and Giveaway! I’ve worked with Carrie from itsums.com several times now and she is just the sweetest! Carrie created a budgeting tool that has been a game changer for keeping my projects on track!

Carrie challenged the 9 of us to design a kids room on a $2500 budget using items from four categories: Sleep, Quiet, Style and Organize. You can meet all of the bloggers and see their boards here:

In order to keep track of our budgets we created an Itsums.com budgeting board with all of our items needed for the room makeover. I know you’ve heard me rave about this site and how easy it is to use. You can read about how I used it last year to keep track of my Christmas shopping budget.

You can find my board here and see all the details of the items I included in my design. One of the reasons I love the budget board is because the items are clickable and it will take me directly to the product for more details or to purchase. This is what the budget looks like, oh, and are you shocked that I’m over budget? No? Me neither. I am confident I would be able to find an item on sale or a discount code to cover the $27, right?!?! :)

I love kid spaces but honestly they have always been a challenge for me to design for some reason. We are getting ready to upgrade my little man’s room to a bigger boy space that can also transition for guests. #smallhouseproblems Don’t worry though, he has a cool playroom makeover in the works that’s going to be so much fun!

And here is my room design! Of course we are going with a beachy theme which makes us both happy and hopefully the guests that we’ll start having soon too! Any takers?
