My Spring Capsule Wardrobe in 20 Pieces
Happy Monday guys! It’s been awhile and even though this post is a little late I still wanted to share my Spring Capsule Wardrobe in 20 Pieces. This comfy capsule is going to take me to and probably all the way through summer because the pieces are so versatile.
Like many of you I have spent the last year in leggings and sweatshirts and although I didn’t mind that, I have felt the urge to up my clothes game…just a little. The main thing I learned is that I will never go back to wearing anything that is uncomfortable. The ultimate goal is always to be comfortable but also look cute.
My wardrobe still mostly consists of leggings, sweatshirts and cutoffs but I added some color to my palette (in the form of tie dye…I can’t quit it y’all), cropped tees, stylish tennis shoes (so the kids tell me) and a few new accessories.
Simple and stylish is always my focus but comfort is an equally important aspect in my clothing choices, as it should be. I think cropped tees are super flattering and I’m learning to embrace the medium-to-high waist shorts and jeans with emphasis on the word medium! I still prefer oversized sweatshirts and I even opted for a matching set.
I’m always cold so denim jackets and cardigans are staples in my wardrobe. One of my favorite outfit combos is my lulu leggings, the long tie dye tee (knotted at the waist) with my denim jacket and Nikes. The jacket also works over the maxi dress and with the skirt!
This is my current favorite necklace.
Have you ever made a capsule wardrobe? Do you love your leggings and sweatshirts as much as I do or are you happy to get back in “regular” clothes? Leave a shout below if you have any sizing questions. I hope this post helps if you are trying to add some new pieces to your closet.
