My Statement Sofa with Move Loot

As you know I typically find myself knee deep in approximately 137 projects at the same time at which I inevitably decide to toss in something else. Well, it happened again and I’ve added my living room to the ever growing list of to do’s. My living room doesn’t need a huge overhaul but I decided I couldn’t live with the giant chocolate brown sofa one more minute. This is not your ordinary online consignment outfit, this a topnotch, all I’s dotted and T’s crossed kind of business and I was thrilled when I discovered it! After deciding on the sofa, I scheduled the delivery on a Tuesday morning for a time slot between 9am-10am and the Move Loot truck arrived at 8:55am. I don’t know about you but I’ve never heard of a delivery service being early. I also received an email the day before confirming the delivery time and a call when they were 30 minutes from arrival.

The delivery was flawless and I didn’t have to lift a finger. They carried the sofa from the truck and carefully unwrapped it and set it exactly where I needed it to go. The crew was extremely pleasant and professional even while my son was asking them a million questions.

When the sofa was unveiled I was over the moon with the style and quality and it was in perfect condition. It has a very high-end look with the tufting and rolled pillows and paired with my chic coffee table (find the tutorial here) I really feel like this is a grown up space now.

The crushed velvet-like fabric gives the sofa a luxurious feel and it is the perfect shade of gray! I was worried the sofa would be too dark – I really wanted a white sofa but luckily the practical part of my brain kicked in – but I couldn’t be happier.
