October Favorites + What's New Around The House

Happy Monday friends!

As you can probably tell, I took last week completely off from the blog, social media and any other outside work. I’ve been fighting a cold that I can’t seem to shake and I just needed some me-and-my-little-man time without distraction. But I’m back and hoping to finally share Nantucket with this week!

Now for our October favorites. And by the way, there’s nothing really going on around our house :)

1. Gorgeous, minimal home tour.

Ya’ll know I love a good minimal, monochromatic home tour and this one fits the bill perfectly!

2. 540 sq. ft. Tiny House

This tiny house is legit!!! And check out the roof!

3. DIY Compost Bin

We elected not to plant a garden this year but we have a huge one planned for 2019 and we’re starting with a DIY compost bin like this one.

4. Wishbone Necklace

My granny was notorious for letting the children pull the pulley bone (as us Southerners refer to it) and it’s one of my fondest memories. This dainty necklace is definitely on my Christmas list!

5. Ron Finley TED Talk

And speaking of gardens…I love TED Talks and this one with Ron Finley, the Gangsta Gardener, was awesome! You can here more of his story on the Fat Burning Man Podcast.

6. Clay Mask

I love a good clay mask I heard about this one from Sherry of Young House Love and I think I’m going to give it a try next.

7. Eyebrow Razor

Okay, I’m dying to know! Has anyone tried these? I hear they are good for removing those little annoying peach fuzz hairs from your face. I think I’m going to bite the $2 bullet and splurge on a pack. I’ll let you know what happens :)

8. In the Heart of the Sea

Currently reading and loving! I can’t wait to watch the movie once I’ve finished.
