I’m so excited to finally have a proper blog post where this Shabby Apple skirt is the center of attention. I had been dying to wear this gorgeous number so when I attended the Southern Coterie Summit conference in May I knew I would find the perfect opportunity. If you can’t wear a big, bold, skirt with lots of layers of tulle in Charleston, SC then where can you wear it right? I was slightly out of my comfort zone at first but I got compliment after compliment which made a semi-shy girl feel pretty good! Have you ever put on something that fit like a glove and made you feel like a million bucks? This skirt did this for me 110%. I wore it to the farewell brunch at the Le Creuset headquarters on the river and it was perfect!
Shabby Apple has so many beautiful pieces from tulle skirts to bathing suits and if the rest of their inventory is anything like the quality of this skirt I will be a lifetime customer. I rarely get super excited about an article of clothing because I’m typically buying budget pieces from discount stores but you can tell this skirt is well made. The thick layers of tulle and the silky outer layer made it feel like it is from a luxury department store but the price tag isn’t! I am 5’6″, 135 pounds, and the size 6 was an exact fit. Yikes, I never give out those stats but I love this piece so much I had to!
Can you sense my excitement? Oh and to all my future bridesmaids (whenever that may happen, lol), you might as well head over and browse the selection now because it will be a Shabby Apple wedding party when that time comes!
I hope your week is off to an awesome start and you are enjoying the first few days of summer! Stay tuned there is lots more to come this week…
This skirt was provided to me for review but my raving opinions are all my own.
