Spring Break & Lots of Projects

Happy day friends! Sorry it’s been crickets over here since my One Room Challenge update but we’ve been on spring break and are just now getting back into the groove. We went to visit friends and family in Virginia last weekend but the rest of the break was spent at home working on projects and having some fun!

We enjoyed the wonderful spring weather watching some lacrosse games including a Tarheel victory over UVA!!

We enjoyed some Easter treats with family.

Attended a fun Easter service held at the Atria Theater in downtown Richmond.

I dusted off the old miter saw and tackled quite a few projects…

…and got our hands dirty

…and a few secret projects to come

…with my favorite little helper of all!

We also did some fun things like our trip to the Lazy 5 Ranch which is a drive through safari type animal zoo where we got to feed all kinds of animals including these guys!

A baby giraffe had been born a few weeks earlier to this mama and we were fascinated.

I haven’t shared many family pictures lately so you see how much little man has grown here! #stoptheclockplease

It’s been a slow start to the week being back but the rest of the week is jam packed with the Spring Edition of Blogger Stylin’ Home Tours, an exciting announcement and a One Room Challenge update so make sure to check back tomorrow!!!
