DIY Weekend Wrap Up

Hi! I hope you had a great weekend.

Between birthday parties, Christmas parades (already!) and a Santa appearance we managed to get a few things done on our list. Here are a few things we were up to this weekend.

We painted all of our kitchen cabinet knobs. I was tired of the brushed nickel look so I decided to go with the oil rubbed bronze that we painted the exterior front door hardware using the same method. You can read that post here if you missed it.

As usual please don’t look at the mess! Do you like the knobs? I am not sure I do but it will temporarily satisfy my desire for change. I would love to replace them but it’s just not in the budget at the moment.

We hid some ugly cords.

We patched some long overdue holes.

We painted the exterior back door the same color as the front door and painted the hardware too! You can find the front door post here.

Oh, I almost forgot. I am standing on my deck taking this picture!!! Dad has made huge progress this weekend.

Sorry these aren’t the greatest photos but I have been taking a lot of them at night so the lighting has not been helpful. I hope to have the full home tour tab up and running with nice pictures with beautiful lighting and true colors :)

Did you guys get any projects done over the weekend? Sometimes you just need to spend some time playing Ms. or Mr. Fix-it.

I have some wall sconces that have been sitting on my bedroom floor for the last six months that I haven’t managed to hang and I wanted to get that done too but no such luck. There’s always tomorrow, right?

Hope you had a great weekend! We have some fun projects coming up this week so stay tuned!
