Bacon Wrapped Jalapenos with Cream Cheese
A delicious low-carb appetizer that's so easy to make! If you're looking for something savoury, cheesy, and a little spice, this is it!
- 12 jalapeños small to medium-sized
- 8 oz cream cheese softened
- 12 slices bacon cut in half crosswise, making 24 smaller slices
Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil or parchment paper.
Slice each jalapeño in half lengthwise, and use a spoon to remove seeds and membranes.
Arrange bacon slices on the prepared baking sheet. Pre-cook bacon in the oven for 8 minutes at 350°F, then remove and let cool slightly.
Fill each jalapeño half evenly with softened cream cheese (about 1 tablespoon per half).
Wrap each cream cheese-filled jalapeño half with a half slice of pre-cooked bacon, placing them seam-side down (cheese side up) on the same baking sheet.
Bake for 25 minutes at 350°F, or until bacon is crisp and jalapeños are tender.
Allow to cool slightly before serving warm. Enjoy!
