It’s Tuesday, Let’s Talk Social Media

Hi guys! How’s it going this Tuesday morning? I know the modern world of social media outlets can be very overwhelming, it certainly is for me, so I thought it might be helpful if I shared the easiest ways you can follow what’s happening on Simple Stylings in one post so you can choose what works best for you! Of course you can follow us on all channels and we would love that too!!!

 

INSTAGRAM

Instagram is probably my favorite way to follow people because it’s easy to use and visually pleasing! I usually share the top images from blog posts here as well as other pretty pics I find around the web and in our daily lives.

SNAPCHAT

I’m desperately trying to love Snapchat and in some ways I do but it’s hard for an old dog to learn new tricks! I think my little man has more fun with it than I do. However, there are some great snappers out there and two hilarious folks that I love to watch are Mandy from Waiting On Martha (user name: waitingonmartha) and Lauren from LC-steele.com (user name: LaurenSteele)! This is a fun platform to see behind the scenes and get to know bloggers and online personalities in a fun and natural setting!

FACEBOOK

I’ve never been a Facebook guru and believe it or not, I didn’t have a FB page until I started the blog! But the more I use it the more I like it and see it’s value in connecting with friends and reader. I would love to be more interactive on here, possibly doing some live Q&A sessions. What do you think? I would love any suggestions on how we can connect on Facebook.

I do use Pinterest to promote the blog but more than that I just love to pin, pin, pin. I used to pin things and never look at them again but lately I’ve really been using my Yummy Recipes board, my Capsule Style board, and my Decorating Ideas boards regularly!

TWITTER

I must admit I’m not much of a tweeter :) I do tweet my blog posts, usually from Instagram but that’s about it. I would LOVE to know your thoughts on Twitter and how to use it better to connect! Anyone???

YOUTUBE

Here is a little secret you guys! I officially started my YouTube channel with a really sad intro video that is just too pathetic to post on the blog lol! But, I’ll rip the bandaid off for a minute and let you guys have a look! Videos are high on my to-do list so as long as you don’t mind some amateur footage in your feed head over and subscribe!
