Introducing The Bold New Flavors of Diet Coke
Happy Friday friends! The weekend couldn’t come fast enough for me this week so I’m really looking forward to Friday…specifically around the 5 0’clock hour if you know what I mean!
This is a different kind of a post today and I’m pumped to share some really fun news! I don’t know if you’ve heard yet but Diet Coke, one of our favorite sponsors, just released a collection of 4 brand new flavors – Feisty Cherry, Ginger Lime, Twisted Mango, Blood Orange – and we got a little sneak peek!
When Diet Coke asks if you want to be part of a new product launch you immediately scream YES! and grab a few of your girls for a little celebration! We had no idea what the surprise was and our photographer, Paige, covered the cans with a blanket so we couldn’t see. On the count of three we unveiled the colorful collection of the new bold flavored cans and as you can tell we were pretty surprised :)

Taste Testing
We were able to taste each one and I think we all ended up with different opinions about which was our favorite flavor. My personal favorite was the ginger lime (I could eat or drink anything involving ginger!) and blood orange was a close 2nd! Each flavor was very different and was great sipping out of the can but I think they would be great over ice with a couple slices of fruit for garnish. And I kinda love the cans too!
Clearly everyone but me had their lips and nails on point!!! :)

As I was writing this post I started thinking about all the fun ways to use the new modern flavors. SO many float options and I bet I could come up with a recipe or two! And I would be lying if I said I wasn’t already thinking about the cocktail possibilities that could be dreamt up using these as mixers! Bring on the happy hour! I’m mean…off the top of my head I’ve already come up with the following combos…just sayin’…
Ginger lime + gin + sprig of rosemary
Feisty cherry + spiced rum
Twisted mango + vodka + sugar rimmed glass
Blood orange + tequila + jalapeno
