Home of the Month: Simple Holiday Home of Creekwoodhill

Happy Thursday friends! I can’t believe Christmas is almost here and for once in my life I can say I’m ready. Bring it on Santa Claus! I’m trying to savor every moment too because my son is nine and this is probably the last year the magic will be quite as strong. I can’t believe how fast he’s growing up!

Today is a very exciting day because it’s the last Home of the Month post for 2017! And, I can’t believe that our Home of the Month series has been going for almost two years now. The very first HOM post was of my parent’s lake house reveal. They have since sold the house but if you haven’t seen it you need to!

With that said, I can’t wait to share the beautiful Christmas home of my friend Lea from Creekwoodhill. Lea is a mama of two that has turned her passion for decorating and design into a career! Kinda my dream lol! She loves modern farmhouse design and has completely nailed the style in her very own urban farmhouse.

This is what Lea has to say about her her home and style: “Home is one of the most comforting words I know, and one that means so much to so many through just four simple letters. In our home, I like to keep the design aesthetic simple and easy going because that’s the way we truly live.”

Seriously a girl after my own simple heart! Now let’s get to it…

I know I’m going to say this over and over but can you believe Lea’s attention to detail without going over the top with her decor? Seriously the balance is amazing!

I love the garment rack in the entry way for coats, the gift-wrapped art and the simple garland on the banister.

Y’all know I’m a sucker for a clean white kitchen! Also, there’s something about magnolia leaves at Christmas that just gets me. Oh yeah, I’m from the South, and I can really appreciate Lea using them in her Minnesota home decor!

I just love this little moment here with the peaceful candle. I think I need this in my life!

Well, you know I have to mention the furbabies! How great is this shot of the pup (Remington) barreling through the room and the kitty cat staring the pup down lol!

He looks quite serious!

The lighting Lea uses throughout her home is to die for! I really have no words for this fixture above the dining room!

Another cute gift-wrapped art piece in the dining room and can we talk about the stunning tree?! The decor is gorgeous yet still simple. Greenery, candles and an easy color palette makes for a look anyone can create!

The armchairs in Lea’s living room are one of my all-time favorites and I really want a pair in our living room!

More wrapped artwork, magnolia leaves and a pretty awesome holiday bar setup. Oh, and did I mention that insanely cool lamp?

I love the little white house tealight holders, the bottle brush trees and of course the little gold deer family! Remember what I said about details…

So simple and clean, so perfect.

And the perfect ending to the perfect Christmas home tour.

Well friends, I’m dying to know what you think about the tour but I have a feeling I already know. You love it as much as I do, am I right?!?!?!?!?!?

Okay then, that’s a wrap! Make sure you follow along with Lea from Creekwoodhill on her blog and Instagram! Lea inspires me so much and I know you will be inspired too!

If you missed any of the 2017 Home of the Month tours you can find them all HERE.

Happy Christmas everyone!!!

Cheers!
