    Cheers! It's the Holidays!

    Cheers! It's the Holidays!

    {Thank you to Michelle sparkling wine for sponsoring this post and providing the wine for review. All ideas, thoughts and opinions are my own.}

    I'm super excited about the holidays this year and as much as I plan on trying to organize and keep my sanity I also want to intentionally schedule meaningful time with friends and family!

    We've already enjoyed a fun Friendsgiving, a fall road trip and our first round of Christmas decorating! I'll be hosting Thanksgiving this year and possibly Christmas too and although there will be a little added stress I'm excited to have a full house.

    Cheers! It's the Holidays!

    I love that the holidays bring us together and inspire a sense of celebration and motivation for fun family activities. I also love to slow down, share a glass of bubbly with friends and chat about how we can't believe the holidays are already here again, where did the year go, etc, etc. :)

    Champagne cocktails and punches are so popular during the holidays but with all the rushing around sometimes it's nice to just pop open a great bottle of rosé anda toast! The Michelle sparkling wine I served at our Friendsgiving (and at Sur La Table and coming up at Thanksgiving) was delicious all by itself. We were toasting to great friendship, gratitude and the fact that our kitchen renovation was ALMOST complete!

    The Brut Rosé was smooth with a hint of citrus and the Brut was slightly dry and full of flavor! We enjoyed both individually and also had the Brut as a Mimosa. If you prefer to mix your bubbly Michelle has lots of awesome recipes on their site!

    Next to it's great flavor, the best part of this wine is that it's accessible and affordable! It's such a bummer when you find a great wine at a restaurant or traveling and you can't find it anywhere or it's completely out of your budget. As soon as we finished these bottles I immediately looked up where I could buy more! Luckily they can be found at Total Wine, Harris Teeter, Publix and some local restaurants! You can also find them on Facebook!

    What do you like to serve at your gatherings to ring in the holidays?

    Cheers!

      I love sparkling wines -- and sweet wines. One of my favorite sweeter wines is Marco de Negri, it's easy to get lost in the yummy and drink the whole bottle. I'll have to give these a try too!
