Happy Friday friends! Happy Valentine’s Day weekend! Did you catch the before and after post this week! If not, you should check it out! There were definitely some scary, never before seen, “before” pics!

I’ve hinted around lately that I’m in the middle of refreshing a few rooms in our home to get ready for spring and the master is first on the list! My bedroom is such a special place for me and I loved it before but I’m excited about adding a few new touches. I’m not changing anything major or even painting butI think these few updates will really freshen up the space!

Here is the before, you can see it’s not terrible so call me crazy or restless, but either way I can’t wait for it to come together!

I know you’ve already seen the rug and it goes perfectly with the gorgeous turquoise juju hat that has been on my list for a LONG time! Although it was a bit of a splurge I finally found a great source with an affordable prices! The quality is awesome too!

I’m swapping out my old dresser for a new (to me) mid century modern dresser/console. Mine is from a second hand retailer but this one is pretty similar!

This Katie Craig abstract art from Minted and the framed photograph from Eventide Collective are the stars of the gallery wall that will surround my tv on the wall opposite the bed.

I’m DIY’ing two IKEA Rast 3-drawer chests as nightstands which will look similar to this one from Lindsay Stephenson.

 

This faux fur and lucite bench is on the wish list! I’m not sure it’s going to be in the budget but I’m contemplating a DIY here too so we’ll see!

That’s pretty much it guys! I’ll be revealing the gallery wall and new dresser next week and the room reveal will follow! What do you think?
