Home of the Month: Lori Paranjape Designs

The second installment of the 2016 Home of the Month series is here and y’all she’s a stunner! I recently discovered Lori Paranjape on Instagram and I was instantly hooked on her killer designs and flawless style. I’m sure you’ve seen her green kitchen island floating around the blogosphere already but just in case here it is from Domino.com yesterday! I’m mean just ridiculously good!

I asked Lori for a couple of sentences that describe her and her work and this is what she had to say: “I’m a design lover and inspiration junkie. My favorite spaces are those that reflect the amazing clients who call them home. In life, and in work, I wait for the love, not the like.” I love this! Words to live by right? What if we all waited for the love instead of settling for the like? Food for thought, eh…

Lori has designed a number of amazing homes in and around Nashville that I’ve been studying lately in and this recent project is to no exception! Oh and Lori, in case you didn’t see my Roadtrip Reality post, Nashville is at the top of the list so we must meet in person! Pretty please :)
Now let’s get to the house! Lori built this home for a professional athlete and his sweet family who were just moving to Nashville. They have family out of town and love to have everyone gather at their house. She used a soft gray on the cabinets and had the hardware plated locally to get the brushed brass finish she wanted. The counters are white Quartz and the lights are Darlana Large from Visual Comfort.
I’m going to let the home take it from here! Any words I add I promise will not do the it justice :)

Okay, I’m dying to know what you think! Could it be any more perfect? That massive island is insane and I love the gray and brass combo! But the unique stair rail might be my favorite feature!
Make sure to follow along on Instagram and tag your pics with #SShomeofthemonth if you have an amazing room/home and would like a chance to be featured!
Also, in case you missed my Facebook debacle I had to start my Simple Stylings page over so I would LOVE it if you could head over there and give me a few likes :) Thanks a million!
Cheers and seriously make sure to check out Lori’s portfolio before you go!
I pay a quick visit everyday some web pages and blogs to read content, however this web site offers feature based
articles.
Can you tell use more about where to find the clear stools? I also have an island for 6 and wanted stools that wouldn’t look cluttered. Also any details on the wood floors that you can provide us?
Hi Jamie, thanks for reading! This home was designed by Lori Paranjape so you’d need to reach out to her for product details! Here website is http://mrsparanjape.com/ and this is her instagram handle https://www.instagram.com/mrsparanjape/ hope that helps!
This is GORGEOUS!! The kitchen hardware is perfect and I have pinned that stair railing before! I will hop in the car to go to Nashville anytime!
ROADTRIP!!!! I’m drooling over that hardware too!
