Small Business Saturday 2016

Happy Small Business Saturday friends! Our family has always been a small business owner and I’ve seen the ups and downs of that through the years. But I don’t think I really appreciated what it meant until I became a small business owner myself. It’s tough y’all and the passion we feel for our business is real. I can’t tell you how many sleepless nights and early mornings I have had because of it, too many to count, but there is NOTHING I would change. I’m so happy to finally doing what I love (part-time at least) and I love to support my fellow small biz owners. I can’t possibly name them all but I want to share a few of my favorites with you and I hope you guys spend some time shopping small and locally this season!

Davis General Store

My friend Lois Ellen’s dad owns this sweet general store in our home town of Huntersville, NC. It is a little gem so if you live nearby or are passing through make sure to stop in!

I have the pleasure of knowing Ariene and she has been a huge supporter of the blogging community. I’m so thrilled that she just opened her very own brick & mortar in Charlotte so definitely stop in asap! Her design aesthetic is on point!
