A Modern + Neutral Masculine Bedroom Update

Happy Tuesday friends!

My schedule is all wonky again but it seems like that’s becoming the norm over these last few crazy weeks! I’ve found myself in the midst of a quite a few projects that have culminated at the same time and I can’t wait until they all wrap up so I can share them with you.

Today I want to share a quick update on Kevin’s bedroom makeover. I shared the design board for his room a few weeks ago and we are finally seeing light at the end of the tunnel.

The walls have been painted, the floors refinished and most of the furniture and accessories have been ordered. We began putting the room together this weekend and were able to finally unveil his new Solay Mattress! I’ll be sharing more about it in the reveal but what’s so cool about Solay is that for every mattress sold they donate one to Beds for Kids right in Charlotte!

I’ve also updated the design board with a few of a our final tweaks. One of the major changes was the artwork. We decided to go with an original photograph that Kevin took on one of our trips down to Tybee Island and I think it will be the perfect pop of color. I love when we’re able to use personal artwork, no matter the type, in someone’s home decor choices. You can find this print in the shop if you love it too!

So what do you think? This room is definitely leaning towards the modern minimal side of things and I love watching the design board come to life! I’ll tell you what though, it’s true what they say about friends and family being your toughest clients!!! Enough said. :)
