Blogger Stylin’ Home Tours || Where We Work And Play
Happy BSHT day!!! This is one of my favorite tour days of the year! If you are visiting from Thistlewood Farms….welcome! Isn’t Kari Anne’s office fabulous?? If you’re new here I would love for you to poke around a bit! Make sure to check out our Home of the Month series and you can see my interview and complete home tour over on Glitter Guide!

Our house is pretty small so we work and play in most of the rooms. But, the playroom and office are two areas that are usually messy and don’t get a ton of love. Well friends, I cleaned up for you so hopefully you can get a better sense of our space! Come on in…

This is our playroom/guest room/homework room.

Our daily schedule and folding homework desk.
This is little man’s bedroom and I can’t help but share his menagerie of stuffed animals! Lots of playing happening in here too!
Before I show you my actual studio/office I thought I would show you where I usually end up working. Right here at the kitchen table on our banquette!
And here is my little light-filled office that is an extention of my master bedroom. I do love working up here with the afternoon sun pouring in!
My office chair and pallet desk are both DIY’s. The mirror is from HomeGoods. Unfortunately the palm didn’t survive, Grits basically considered it his play toy :(
My favorite rolling cart from IKEA holds our painting supplies!
Oh that’s just me working on my Instagram game!
The gallery wall is one of my favorite elements of all time!
Well friends, what did you think? Do you have one main play area or do your kids play all over the house? Do you use your home office every day or do you work from the dining room table (or the kitchen counter, or sofa, even the deck or front porch) like me?
Next stop on the tour is my real-life friend Amber of Restless Arrow! I was lucky enough to meet her in Greenville, SC this year and she is one of the most genuine people I’ve met! You are in for a real treat so head on over now! Below is the tour line up if you missed any or want to start from the beginning.
A huge thanks to our lovely host, Lindsay of The White Buffalo Styling Co.! It’s always a pleasure joining you on these fun tours!

xoxo
Thank you so much Shauna!! You are so sweet! Cheers!
What a beautiful office and I just love that gallery wall! I totally wind up at the kitchen counter about 30% of the time still, even with a dedicated office space :) Maybe someday when I actually get around to finishing the third floor…except I’ll probably still wind up at the counter!
Thanks so much Jennifer!! Yep, counter for sure! There’s just something about climbing those stairs lol! I think it’s too far from the snacks…
That pillow. Truest statement ever. My little man tells EVERYONE he got to play with a SEVEN year old! ;)
Awww thanks so much Amber! He is a sweet heart and that’s adorable about your little guy! We definitely need to get them back together :)
I love the folding homework table. Such a space saver. Where did you get this gem?
Thanks so much Trang!! It’s from IKEA :)
You killed it on that gallery wall! I thought I loved the first one but this is so good. And that shaggy little man needs to come play soon!
Thanks Bethie!!! Say the word and we’re there!
Love all the photos! Your home is such a happy and pretty place Summer.
Thanks so much Julia! xoxo
