My Top 10 Favorite Kitchen Gadgets For Fall + All Year!

Happy Tuesday friends! After a weekend at the beach with some great friends we are back to our regular scheduled programing!

I thought it would be a fun idea to share with you my top 10 kitchen gadgets for the fall! Actually, all of these are really year-round essentials but some of them tend to get more use in the fall when it’s comfort food season.

My Top 10 Favorite Kitchen Gadgets For Fall + All Year!

1. Slow Cooker

Let’s start with the basics! I think a slow cooker is self explanatory and a staple in most households these days but there are two features that I think are really important. If you are in the market for an upgraded slow cooker I would recommend one with a built-in thermometer and a lid that locks which makes it easy for traveling purposes. I’m always lugging my slow cooker to someone’s house for a girls night or pot luck and I would prefer the food not to spill out on my car seat :) Chili is my favorite recipe to make in the slow cooker and as a matter of fact my son asked for it this week so that will be on our menu for the week!

2. Instant Pot

This new-to-us gadget has been a game changer for us lately! I use it primarily to boil eggs and cook shredded chicken in a hurry but it does SO many things. Totally worth every penny!

3. Spiralizer

We have definitely overhauled our diet in the Hogan house over the last year which means we are eating more veggies and always looking for new ways to prepare them. Up until now we’ve used this handheld spiralizer but I’m thinking about stepping up our zoodle game with this one!

4. Dutch Oven

This is definitely a kitchen splurge item in my book but I love, love, love my white Le Creuset. Dutch ovens are great for soups, stews, broths and even whole chickens! I made this crab and corn chowder in ours and it turned out delicious!

5. Amazon Echo Dot

This might be my favorite kitchen gadget of all. It’s constantly playing music for me, answering questions and adding items to our grocery list.

6. A Good Blender

Smoothies are a staple in our house and having a good blender is a must. I would love to be able to afford a Vitamix but I don’t think that’s in the cards at the moment. My parents have this Ninja blender and it works like a charm.

7. Keurig Coffee Maker

I love my Keurig but mine is actually in my bedroom, however, this is definitely a great kitchen essential especially when entertaining guests. I love the pearl color of this one.

8. KitchenAid Stand Mixer

A stand mixer is super helpful for baking ALL the fall things. And they come in almost every color of the rainbow now to fit any decor style.

9. Emersion Blender

This handy little gadget is great for blending veggies in a pot of soup when they need to incorporated will but not pureed completely.

10. Vidalia Onion Chop Wizard

Now for the most obscure item on the list! I’ve had this veggie chopper for at least 5 years, maybe 10, and it is my most favorite thing. It’s real simple, chops everything and even my son can use it.

So I’m dying to know…what are your top kitchen must haves and why??? Stay tuned as there will be a fun fall tour coming up on Thursday!

Cheers!
