Year In Review: Top Posts + Projects Of 2017
Happy Monday friends! So my first full week post-holiday break is starting off on the right foot today! As I mentioned in my Awesome Sauce 2018 post last week, I’m shooting for a more consistent schedule this year. My goal is M-W-F posts instead of 2 inconsistent posts a week :) I’m hoping you’ll enjoy this and the new content coming your way!
As we transition into the New Year, I like to look back at some of your favorite posts. Not only does this allow you guys to see anything you missed or forgot to Pin, it also reminds me of everything that we accomplished. It’s nice to have this encouragement when I feel like I’m not getting anything done or have too many unfinished projects on my plate.
After looking over some of the analytics it’s clear that you guys enjoy our home tours – both the pretty and the real life – which makes me super happy! And we LOVE that you like to see our mess! :) You also consistently like the Home of the Month features as well as some of the Top 10 posts from last year like our Top 10 Favorite Ikea and Target products! The master bathroom reveal and our one-year-later kitchen renovation posts were also among the favorites.
My personal favorite post was the DIY cat ladder that I completed with Better Homes and Gardens. It was a true DIY from conception to execution and our cats love it!The master bathroom reveal and our DIY shiplap tutorial are also two of my favorite projects!
Now here are your top posts of 2017 plus a few runner ups!
There was no doubt in my mind that the reveal of my parent’s beach house was the top post of 2017! They did a phenomenal job with the design and it has become a true second home for us!
I’m glad you guys loved our Spring home tour because it was a little different and I wasn’t sure if you would.
This was the first of two ‘messy’ home tours and you guys like and it makes my heart happy that I’m not alone in my mess and that you appreciate seeing the not-so-perfect home pics.
Budget friendly decorating posts are some of my favorites and I’m glad you feel the same. I used mostly Target dollar bin items to decorate this fall.
The bathroom was definitely the biggest problem of the year and it’s always a treat to work on a project with Lowe’s, one of our favorite sponsors!
I’m pretty confident that most of you enjoyed our kitchen reveal the first time around but I love that you’re still into it! I wrote this post to give an update on how everything was working out for us in the kitchen after living in it for a little over a year.
You’re favorite ‘messier’ home tour #2!
You guys all know that the Home of the Month features are probably my favorite posts to write each month and I’m glad you agree. The transformation of the home of Andy and Candis from the HGTV show (and book) Old Home Love is 100% swoon worthy!
9. Top 10 Target Home Must-Haves: Spring 2017
Out of all the Top 10 posts from 2017, the Target Home must-haves from the Spring was your favorite and I can certainly see why! These goodies were one of Target’s best collections in my opinion!
And last but not least, this year’s cozy Christmas home tour made #10!
Here are a few runner-up favorite posts too!
